NEW TOOL: Supporting Successful District Implementation of New Science Standards

The implementation of an ambitous educational vision—like those described in recent educational standards and frameworks—is complicated work. That said, there is a lot that is known from the research literature about district-level implementation. In science education, that knowledge base is being supplemented with new insights identified in district-level implementation of science standards derived the NRC Framework for K-12 Science Education. This new tool authored by staff at Achieve highlights three of their detailed resources that provide a platform to support district-level implementation of the new vision for K-12 science education.
