NEW TOOL on Place-Based Systems Thinking

Investigating local ecological phenomena helps young people use the crosscutting concept of systems and systems models to better understand the complex interactions that shape the natural world⁠—and see the places of humans within these systems. The new STEM Teaching Tool "Supporting observations, wonderings, systems thinking & “Should We” deliberations through Learning in Places" highlights resources from the Learning in Places project that engage young people in ethical systems thinking.
