NEW TOOL: Using the crosscutting concepts to reflect on and refine your teaching
Posted on August 18, 2021
Our colleagues from the Institute for School Partnership at Washington University in St. Louis have created a new way to reflect on your teaching: using the crosscutting concepts. Crosscutting concepts can not only help students make sense of science content, but also to help teachers reflect on the social phenomena occurring in their classroom.
Use this new STEM Teaching Tool and accompanying Plan, Do, Study, Act template to reflect on your own teaching and make justice-centered changes in your classroom or learning setting.
