NEW TOOL to support conversations about climate change
Posted on January 14, 2022
One important way educators and students can respond to the climate emergency is to routinely talk about it with the people in their lives—in the classroom, at home, and in their communities. But talking about climate and climate justice can be a complicated endeavor.
To that end, the Talk Climate project has developed resources to support those conversations. This new STEM Teaching Tool bundles guidance and resources from their work and from other similar projects around the world. The resources linked from the tool provide developmentally-appropriate and scientifically-informed guidance for talking about climate change — from preschool through college contexts.
Thank you to the Talk Climate team for this resource, including Ikran Elmi, Ti’esh Harper, Megan Slade, and Heather Price.
